Playgrounds

We strongly believe the power that play has in the development of children and young people. The playground is where friends are made, fun is had, exercise is encouraged, problem-solving skills are learned, and leadership emerges. Sadly, several playgrounds were lost or destroyed during hurricane Dorian, which left an enormous void in the life of Abaco’s children.

Fast forward to 2025 when, thanks to a generous grant from the TK Foundation, we were thrilled to partner with Kids Around the World to install two new playgrounds: one in Central Pines and one in Dundas Town. It’s great to see play returning to the neighborhoods!
